Jenna
Night Veterinary NurseJenna qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2023 after beginning her veterinary career more than 20 years ago as an Animal Care Assistant. Having worked across equine, small animal and welfare settings, she brings a wealth of practical experience and a deep understanding of patient care to her nursing role.
Jenna has developed a particular passion for Emergency and Critical Care nursing, where she enjoys supporting patients through challenging and often life-threatening situations. Her experience includes anaesthesia, theatre nursing, emergency patient care, diagnostics, laboratory work, dental radiography and inpatient monitoring. She is also regularly involved in out-of-hours nursing and critical patient support.
Committed to advancing her skills, Jenna is currently studying towards a Surgical Nursing Certificate and has a strong interest in surgical nursing, radiography and clinical coaching. As a Clinical Coach, she is passionate about helping develop the next generation of veterinary nurses.
Outside of work, Jenna has an impressive background in competitive fencing, having coached and competed nationally and internationally for many years. At home she enjoys life with her horses, dogs, cats and foster animals, reflecting her lifelong dedication to animal welfare.
