Gemma qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2021 and has over four years of post-qualification experience working across emergency, out-of-hours and first-opinion practice. She recently completed her BSc (Hons) in Veterinary Nursing, where she focused on Emergency and Critical Care (ECC), behaviour, and exotic and wildlife nursing.

ECC nursing is a particular passion for Gemma. She has extensive experience in emergency triage, critical care nursing, anaesthesia, inpatient monitoring and supporting veterinary surgeons during emergency procedures. Her calm, organised approach enables her to provide exceptional care for patients during some of their most vulnerable moments.

Alongside her clinical work, Gemma holds a senior nursing leadership role and is currently studying towards a Surgical Nursing Certificate. She is passionate about developing clinical standards, mentoring colleagues and continuously improving patient care.

Clients value Gemma’s friendly nature, attention to detail and commitment to ensuring both pets and their owners feel supported throughout their visit. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, reading and sewing, as well as spending time with her two much-loved dogs.
